YESTERDAY'S FOOD FINES

The following fines were imposed yesterday for offences under various Food Orders:-
At Kesteven, Charles Marfleet and his sister, Sarah Ann Marfleet, of Boothby Graffoe, near Lincoln, for feeding six greyhounds on wheaten bread, £10 each. William Smith, greyhound trainer, was fined 10s. Thomas Bailey, farmer, also of Boothby Graffoe. for giving barley sheaves to 13 young beasts and allowing barley to be used as litter for cattle, £50.
